Meet the key principals at Evans, Pires & Leonard:
Tim Evans-Commercial Lines, Vice President

Tim joined his father, Michael, at Evans, Pires & Leonard back in 1995 after graduating from Central Connecticut State University with a major in Business Management. He began his career at the agency as a Personal Lines Sales Executive. Soon after, he took on a new role as a leading sales figure in Commercial Lines. Using the “team” approach, Tim worked alongside his father and siblings to create new and exciting comprehensive cost-effective insurance programs for clients and prospective clients alike.

He has nearly 20 years of experience working with an array of customers such as: contractors, manufacturers, wholesalers, garage operations of both small and large throughout Connecticut assisting them in finding the best insurance programs for their organizations.

Michael P. Piergallini, CPA, Vice President Commercial Lines

Mike joined his family at Evans Pires & Leonard back in 1999. He began his career after receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Masters in Professional Accounting, working for a number of years in “Big-8” public accounting. Mike then travelled extensivley while working for two multi-national companies with businesses throughout North and South America and Europe. These companies had diverse operations including Engineering and Construction Management, Manufacturing, Robotics, Environmental Systems, Power Generation, Shipping and Hotels, and Residential Construction. He returned to Connecticut where he served as Controller of a heavy manufacturing company before joining the agency.

Mike focuses on Commercial Property & Casualty insurance for companies of all sizes, as well as targeted coverages for Auto Services, Construction, Environmental, Financial Services, and Professional Liability exposures. He also has Life & Health Producer and Surplus Lines Broker Licenses.

Michael W. Evans, Jr., Vice President

Mike joined his father, Mike Evans, at Evans, Pires & Leonard in 1993, with his primary focus in Property/Casualty Insurance for both Commercial and Personal Lines. He has experienced success in providing comprehensive and competitive insurance programs for many types of businesses – from contractors to manufacturers and distributors.

Mike is also licensed for Life, Health and Disability Insurance, making it easier for his clients to be protected all around. After graduating from St. Leo College in 1991, he played professional minor league baseball in the Oakland A’s organization.

Kevin A. Evans, Vice President – Personal Lines

After attending the University of Connecticut, Kevin joined the family business in 2000. As a licensed producer, his primary focus is on Personal Lines Property and Casualty Insurance as well as Business Owner’s Commercial Accounts. He has extensive experience in Agency quoting and claims handling, providing a comprehensive service to our clients. Outside of work, Kevin is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast.

Peter A. Pires, Jr., Commercial Lines and Group Benefits

Pete graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1984 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. After working as an independent Life & Health agent for a number of years, Pete joined Evans Pires & Leonard in 1988. Since then he has specialized in Group Benefit Plans for companies of all sizes throughout Connecticut. In addition, Pete also provides the Property, Liability, Auto, Workers Compensation, and Umbrella policies for many of those same clients.

Pete has helped our clients implement cutting-edge solutions including Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs) to help manage rising costs in the medical insurance market.

Scott Beaulieu – Personal & Commercial Lines, Producer

Scott joined Evans, Pires & Leonard in 2010 after spending 10 years in the real estate industry as an agent and banker. Because of his experience in real estate, Personal Lines insurance seemed a natural fit for Scott. Since joining the agency, he has broadened his Personal Lines sales experience to also include commercial lines. He is also a licensed as a Life & Health insurance producer.

Scott graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 1996.
